The proliferation of remote and hybrid work models has sparked much debate, but according to various experts and studies, the solution for many employers may lie in listening to their employees, whatever they may want.
Yelp, for example, chose to go fully remote after discovering that only 1% of its global workforce chose to return to the office once it reopened, according to the company’s chief people officer. Much of that decision was based on employee survey data and office utilisation data, as well as insights from candidates who applied because of Yelp’s focus on remote work.
Other surveys have found that remote and hybrid work will likely continue to be the norm. Almost half of IT and
